The Fig Tree is the home for many groups and activities throughout the week. These are FREE to join and include refreshments – though donations are always welcome.

SPECIAL EVENTS:

Baby Massage: Thursday 20th October, at our regular babies session, from 1:30pm – Massage therapist Deborah Crowe will guide you through a gentle  massage for your baby. Please bring a towel.

TV FREE EVENINGS: A return to our really popular sessions – Three evenings to meet new people – enjoy making and creating together, and above all, laughing together. Thursdays, 10th, 17th & 24th November, 7.30pm – 9pm

REGULAR EVENTS:

Oasis – Every Monday . 10 – 11 am. Need a place of quiet…..just to sit and soak up the peace? Come and sit a while, listen to gentle music, watch a slide show of beautiful scenes in nature, perhaps light a candle. Stop for 10 mins or stay an hour. We will serve refreshments after 11am, and you are welcome to stay on.

FRONT ROOM -come along with your painting, drawing, knitting, darning…….or whatever you want to do in your Front Room….Meet other people and have a good chat. 2pm – 4pm.

Meeting Place – Tuesdays, 10am – 12 noon Come along if you need some Language Support and want to make new freinds.

MEMORY CAFE – the second Wednesday of the month. Next meeting on 12 October & 9th November 10am – 12noon.

LET’S MAKE MUSIC! Musical activities for the very young. A time of exploration for you and your child. Wednesdays, 2pm-4pm

TODDLERS – Thursdays. 10am – 12noon

BABIES – Thursdays, 1pm – 3pm – for those with a new baby – an opportunity to meet other new parents.

God’s Not Like That! If God’s not always angry and out-to-get-you, what is he like?Four relaxed and informal evenings to talk about the topic. No religious dogma – just good coffee, cake and conversation. Led by John Thompson, Lead Chaplain to Gloucestershire Hospitals. Thursdays, 15th & 22nd September, 6th & 13th October, 7.30pm.

CRAFT MORNING – Fridays, 10am – 12noon Crafts for all the family. Get creative with your child. No skills required! Suitable for pre-school children.

After School Every Friday, after school, 3:30 – 4.40. Toys and games for the children, time to chat with other parents. [Term-time only]

DADS AND CHILDREN – Saturdays 10am – 12noon. Enjoy games, books and toys in a safe space. On October 22nd we will be having large-scale model trains.
